IB order interface version 3.0 is released. It is a major upgrade with many new features,

1. can be used as a data feed similar to MB Trading order interface
2. can display depth data from IB
3. if used as a data feed, the symbols do not need translation at all through the symbol info manager.

An important issue with IB data feed is that we have introduced our own symbology, Here are some example symbols,

Stock – MSFT:SMART

Future – /ESZ5:GLOBEX, /YMZ5:ECBOT

Index – $INDU:NYSE

Forex – EUR/USD
