Grid Optimization – Kicking It Up a Notch!

As we are working on the next major release of Grid Optimizer, we listed out various areas that we would like to see improvements on,

- database component that is in use in version 1 is not as efficient at 200K+ records
- how to squeeze out more horse power from each computer during optimization as the current generation of computers are much more inline with our concept of parallel computing
- OLE automation is missing

All these items, however, require us to make architectural changes. Thus we’ve finally decided to go for a version 2.0 release as oppose to staying with the version 1 naming.

I like what I see so far from the prototypes. I am sure you will all like the coming release of Grid Optimizer.
