I am very glad that Dr. Steenbarger mentioned NeoTicker in his blog this week. Dr. Steenbarger is the author of the book The Psychology of Trading (Wiley 2003).

One of the features he mentioned in his blog is the use of S&P 500 TICK16 index. It is a customized breadth index that can only be calculated with NeoBreadth or User Define Symbol in NeoTicker.

This prompted me to revise a series of old postings I made back in 2003 about TICK16. I will have the revised articles posted here in the blog so that more readers can learn about this useful tool.
