NeoTicker download is quite large (~50M). When you download NeoTicker, the possibility of a corrupted download is very real. In our experience, every time we make a release, some support calls come in that can be traced back to bad downloads.

So how can you tell if a download is good or bad? The answer is checksum.

I just re-edited an article I wrote last year about verifying NeoTicker download. It is now posted in the blog and has link back to the forum for discussion.

We’ve re-organized our support forum. Some of the lower traffic forums has been merged. And we’ve clearly distinguish NeoTicker support from trading discussion.

Here are things we’ve done:

– Data vendors and Order Interface forums have been merged. They are closely related and do not carry the traffic merit their own forum.

– Trading Techniques and Trading Systems have been moved to a new category – Trading Related. These forums talk about trading in general. So they are not necessary NeoTicker related.

– Other Products & 3rd Party Add-ons. This is a new category. Currently we only have IDS under this category but we anticipate more in the future.

Discuss this change.

We’ve just released 4.1 Beta 7. Full and lease version users can download it from customer area.

Demo version is also available.

Summary of changes in Beta 7:

• General performance improvements
• More Forex related features
• New formula feature (access to GHeap)
• New programming features (access to file system)
• Many of the bugs introduced in previous beta has been fixed

We consider Beta 7 is a matured beta release and recommended
all users who plan to upgrade to 4.1 to give Beta 7 a try.
