Forex Daily Data Repaired

Our backfill server has been having problem with forex daily data for a while. We have been seeking for a better daily data collection scheme ever since. This weekend we just completed our repair of the daily data in the backfill servers for the major pairs.

All clients should now be able to access the cleaned up historical daily data. For some pairs like EUR/USD, you should be able to access daily data going all the way back to 1970s. Please let us know if you encounter new data issues so that we can work on additional measures to improve the data quality.

p.s. demo users cannot access all the historical data due to demo limitations.

OEC Server Side Changes

Special Notice

Since last weekend OEC has updated their simulation servers to use their latest API. However, this new API does not work with their production servers yet.

The current release of OEC Order Server works with the current OEC production server. Thus all current users using OEC connection through their actual trading accounts are not affected.

By this weekend, OEC will finally upgrade their production servers to match their simulation ones. We will release a new OEC Order Server by Friday to match this mandatory server side changes.

By that time, users can access to both OEC simulation and production servers without any problem.
