Bug Fixes
– static model to properly support null trades (i.e. scratch trades)
The latest release of Equity Monaco sports a new user interface that reduces clutters and a new option for quick visualization of simple trading models defined by static statistics.
Here is a screenshot of the new Equity Monaco.
The new static model option is a very useful tool.
For those interested in learning trading system design, it can help them understand the basics and importance of monte carlo simulation on trading models without building an actual model first.
For those discretionary traders who want to improve their money management techniques but cannot grasp the impact of various position sizing methods, the static model option offers a way to find the answers visually.
By entering the exact winning/losing percentage and their corresponding average winning/losing amounts, one can generate the desired information quickly. For example, using the setting of 60% winners and 40% losers, where in both cases the amounts are $100, we find that the terminal equity is very likely (statistically speaking) that it will end up doubling the initial capital of $10,000.
Remember Equity Monaco is free. You can get it here.

New Features
– support MB Navigator version 11.6.0.x
– added special login form to replace the MB Navigator Login component
– added code to bypass other issues caused by Windows 7 64-bit
Special Notes
– does not work with MB Navigator version 11.5.x.x or any earlier release
– if upgrading both MB Navigator and order server at the same time, you have to launch the new MB Navigator at least once (after reboot) to register its new ActiveX components first. Then reboot once more if you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7. Otherwise you may experience odd behaviours.
Windows 7 64-bit
– if your computer support hardware DEP (Data Execution Prevention) in Windows 7 64-bit, certain incompatibilities are found with MB’s visual components
– workaround requires adding the MB Order Server to the DEP exception list if you encounter compatibility problems
How to add a program to the Windows DEP Exception List
– select the computer icon, right click, choose the property menu item
– the computer property screen will show up
– choose from the left side menu, Advanced System Settings
– In the Advanced System Properties window, there is a Advance tab. Under that, you can find the Performance options, click its Options button.
– In the Performance property window, you can find the DEP tab. Add MB Order Server to the exception list from here.
